Living Room Sleepover

We are so happy it's the weekend! It's been a particularly crazy week, which has included try-outs for Craig's basketball team (I don't like knowing about all the kids who have been cut), and extra hours in the office for me as classes begin next week.
Yesterday Maggie didn't eat her food, and we came home to a few vomit spots around the house, so to avoid an incident like we had a few months ago (I will say this for those of you who don't know the story, being woken up by the smell of dog poop means there is a lot of it in your house. A LOT.), we decided to have a little camp out with the pooch in the living room.

Look at that face!

Maggie isn't allowed on the upper floor of the house and when we go up the stairs she dutifully waits at the bottom, resting her head on the bottom step, waiting for our return. So in order to monitor her and avoid, well, another "incident", we turned it into a little campout. We pulled out the inflatable mattress, and for the first time ever, got to cuddle with Maggie in bed. We watched a movie and then kicked her out so we could sleep. Of course we invited her back in the morning and had to document the cuteness after going to fetch more blankets.
